Claypaky New Midi-b FX & Actoris Profile FC

The Midi-B FX stems from the innovative idea of adding some fancy lighting effects to a moving head washlight to get a fixture that can do both RGBW wash lighting and be used as part of the set design. To do this, Claypaky has placed a long top hat on the body of a Claypaky Midi-B, and fit five parallel rings of LEDs around it, each of which can be controlled separately for a wide range of colours.

Expanding Mosaic Touchscreens

This week ETC released a new 8” Touchscreen for the Mosaic line. This 8” model joins the 5” Touchscreen which we launched in January. Both versions are available to spec and order with black and white bezels. We expect to be able to ship all versions in mid-September.

EchoTouch and ColorSource Console Software v3.3 Released

ETC has released version 3.3 of software for ColorSource consoles and EchoTouch controller. For ColorSource, the software includes performance enhancements and bug fixes. For EchoTouch, this free software update adds integrated UDP support.

Xtylos Hit the Road with A Day To Remember’s European Tour Canada-based Lighting Designer Alex Mungalof Alien Lites selected Claypaky Xtylos fixtures for the European tour of American rock band A Day To Remember (ADTR), which wrapped at the end of February in Antwerp, Belgium. Mungal designed and programmed the show for ADTR, which was on tour with Bring me the Horizon and Static Dress. The band has had a busy run lately with the month-long European tour that stretched from Portugal to Poland following a North American headlining tour that kicked off in Baltimore in July 2022 and wrapped in Las Vegas in October. ADTR also played an acoustic theater tour in the US from the end of November to the end of December 2022. Mungal has a particularly passion for lighting music.
