Claypaky Volero Cubes Make Dutch Debut at Sold-out Son Mieux Concerts in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome
Dutch indie pop group Son Mieux recently played two sold-out shows at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, where 32 Claypaky Volero Cubes made their Dutch debut. The Volero Cube is a compact, versatile IP66 moving head combining beam, wash, and strobe effects with pixel-to-pixel control. Lighting designer Jasper Nijholt aimed to create a dynamic, open design that kept fans connected to the energy of the show. The Volero Cubes were used for backlighting, beam effects, and strobe accents, with their powerful output and white tones adding visual impact. Nijholt praised the Cubes for their performance and flexibility, creating stunning visuals and balancing the overall lighting rig.

Claypaky Skylos, Xtylos and Scenius Profiles Shine at Bahrain’s Celebration of Football Team’s Arabian Gulf Cup Win
A large array of Claypaky lighting fixtures illuminated the celebration at Bahrain National Stadium following the Bahrain national football team's victory in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup. The event, attended by His Majesty the King and other dignitaries, was organized by Faalyat Event Management and produced by Showtech Productions. Lighting designer Lawrence Rodricks used 40 Skylos, 40 Xtylos, and 40 Scenius Profiles.
Freelance programmer Alex Douglas praised the Skylos for their punchy, fast performance, especially their narrow beam with the deflection gobo. The Xtylos created bright red beams for the national colors, and the lighting was designed to look great on camera, especially against the fireworks. The Skylos’s IP66 rating was beneficial in the extreme temperature changes, with no issues despite constant condensation. The Scenius Profiles were used as front and base lights for presentations.
