Clay Paky Axcor Profile 900

Clay Paky Axcor Profile 900

With the Axcor Profile 900, Claypaky has launched a new course in its design research: it is the first Claypaky spotlight to use a LED light source, instead of a traditional discharge lamp.

Claypaky has chosen to use a white LED engine with high luminous efficiency, total power of about 900 watts and luminous flux of 24,000 lumen output, and couple it with a system of dichroic filters to create the colors. Thanks to its considerable light output, the Claypaky Axcor Profile 900 goes straight in at the top of its category and features the best in modern technology in every parameter: the characteristics of the white and colored light it produces, its ability to form perfectly sharp projections, and the precision micro-mechanics of its exclusive beam shaping system.

Clay Paky Igloo

Clay Paky Igloo

Whenever moving lights are installed outdoors – either permanently for architectural applications or during temporary events and festivals – protecting such sensitive equipment against the elements becomes essential.

The Igloo was created by Clay Paky for exactly this purpose – a tough, sturdy enclosure that offers complete protection against rain and humidity, and maintains a perfect working temperature (between 0°C and 35°C) for fixtures even in hot or sub-zero conditions.  The Igloo is great for permanent installations and is an indispensable tool for rental companies who want to protect their stock of lighting during outdoor events and festivals. Above all, the Igloo is quick to install, simple to use and competitively priced.

Clay Paky Mythos

Clay Paky Mythos

Mythos is a highly advanced form of hybrid light: first of all, it is an excellent 470 watt-lamp spotlight, which produces an outstanding large light beam, featuring a zoom that ranges from 4° to 50° (1:12 ratio).

Light beam is sharp, with perfectly defined edges, from the first millimetres after the front lens right along its entire length. The zoom is optimized for focusing, which is separate from that of the fixed and rotating gobos. Its movements are smooth, fast and very quiet. Mythos also features a completely redesigned indexed visual effect disc, which may be superimposed on all the gobos, both in and out of focus.

But Mythos is also an extraordinary beam light, allowing you to switch to a minimum fixed beam angle of just 0.5°. A large, very dense, 170 mm-diameter light beam leaves the Mythos’s front lens and remains parallel for its entire length even at great distances.

Mythos is a very versatile tool, which is useful in any situation and therefore an excellent investment.

Clay Paky Scenius

Clay Paky Scenius

Scenius is the new moving head spotlight at the top of the Clay Paky range. Its advanced optical unit and the new 1400W OSRAM discharge lamp provide a much higher light output than with previous generation 1500W lamps.

Thanks to its wide 8°-55° zoom, Scenius is perfect for every use. A modern focus tracking system concentrates maximum luminous efficiency precisely on the effect you wish to project, and the focus may be set to be fully automatic.

With Scenius you have a light in your hands whose white light and color reproduction fidelity will completely amaze you. The lamp produces a 6000 K color temperature that does not vary over time; also, Scenius can count on a CRI≈95, which is extremely unusual for a metal halide light source. The colors cover a broad spectrum, even including pastel shades, thanks to a CMY system, a 7-color wheel and a linear CTO filter.

The special effects are of course top-ranking: 2 rotating gobo wheels, each with 6 interchangeable gobos, a rotating prism and an interchangeable graphics wheel for spectacular new effects, a highly precise iris. The fixture can also be used in wash mode by inserting a new design of frost filter. It can be run at 1400W or in energy saving mode at 1200W.

Clay Paky Scenius Profile

Clay Paky Scenius Profile

Scenius Profile is the new Clay Paky beam shaper at the top of the Clay Paky moving head range. The optical reflector has been designed specifically for this product, in order to make the projection perfectly uniform across the whole beam opening, avoiding the typical hotspot effect of many spotlights.

Its framing system consists of four independent overlapping blades that create shapes of all sizes, not just quadrangular, but also triangular. It works simultaneously on four different focal planes and the exclusive “curtain effect” allows gradual total closure of the shape using any one of the four blades. The shape made may also be turned around itself up to an angle of 90°, either to change its orientation or keep it fixed as the light beam moves.

Its advanced optical unit and the new 1400W OSRAM discharge lamp provide very high light output and CRI. Thanks to its wide 8°-50° zoom, Scenius Profile is perfect for every set. A modern focus tracking system concentrates maximum luminous efficiency precisely on the effect you wish to project, and the focus may be set to be fully automatic.

The CMY color system, the linear CTO, 7 fixed colors, 14 gobos (6 rotating + 8 fixed), rotating prism, 2 variable frost filters, a very precise dimmer enhance the performances of this luminaire.

With all these features, the Scenius Profile is an extraordinary tool for theatrical use, in television studios or on the sets of large events, where it can fashion uniform light beams without limits and frame scenic elements precisely with fixed or animated light.

The optical reflector of Scenius Profile can be replaced with that of Scenius Spot, to obtain a higher luminous peak at the center of the beam.

Clay Paky Scenius Unico

Clay Paky Scenius Unico

The Scenius Unico is the latest addition to the Scenius family, therefore its first highly appealing feature is the quality of its light (1400W Osram lamp, 6500K, very high CRI).

It is a magnificent spot light for projecting effects, with six rotating gobos, a rotating prism a beautiful animation wheel, and it is equipped with the most sophisticated and most precise framing system on the market today. The Scenius Unico is also an excellent wash light, since it features a system with different diffusion filters, which may be inserted gradually. However the most amazing feature is that the Scenius Unico can also generate a powerful narrow beam of super concentrated light, with a minimum beam angle of only 5 degrees.

Clay Paky Spheriscan

Clay Paky Spheriscan

Spheriscan is a revolutionary scanner with a modern twist. After creating the last word in moving-mirror lights in the 1990s, Clay Paky has leveraged the huge technological developments of recent years to "reinvent" the scanner and make it future-ready.

The Spheriscan’s pan rotation does not have an end-stop: its mirror goes on turning endlessly beyond 360 degrees, which creates an absolutely original swirling effect. Its speed may be adjusted as desired and reach a maximum of 280 rpm, that is more than four revolutions per second! Spheriscan is without a doubt much more powerful and brighter than any of the other scanners that came before it. Its spanking new OSRAM lamp works at  1200 W.

Spheriscan features a 13°-34° high speed zoom, 2 rotating gobo wheels with 6 gobos each, an interchangeable glass animation wheel, a rotating prism, a fast sixteen-blade iris, a linear frost filter, CMY system, a color wheel and a linear CTO.

Spheriscan is built to be used outdoors (IP54). Using a special optional support system, Spheriscan may be recessed into the stage floor, with only its transparent head visible, to create original gazing projections.

Its transparent tumbler-shaped cover can be easily removed and replaced with a special mirror-holder (the light slightly gains in brightness and becomes IP20). Lastly, you can also use the Spheriscan to project light directly, without the mirror.

Spheriscan is therefore a tribute to the past with an endless variety of state-of-the-art technical features. It is a powerful effects light capable of adding a new distinctive touch to shows and an appliance you can use on many occasions, including big events, indoor and outdoor concerts and architectural installations.

Clay Paky Supersharpy

Clay Paky Supersharpy

After the Sharpy’s extraordinary worldwide success, Clay Paky is now launching the SuperSharpy, an ACL beam type moving head featuring a 470 watt, 7,000 K lamp. If you have been amazed at how bright the Sharpy is, the SuperSharpy will leave you literally stunned. Its light beam is nothing short of four times brighter, with a far bigger difference than you would expect by simply comparing the rated wattage of the two lamps (470 vs 190).

Thanks to this incredible output, the SuperSharpy’s light reaches never-seen-before mid-air distances, making the SuperSharpy the first low-wattage beam light that can really challenge a searchlight.

However Clay Paky has not settled for merely producing a “more powerful beam light”. The SuperSharpy also provides the utmost in terms of light quality and number of effects.
